2012 Christmas Dinner

The Capital City Coin Club participated in the Yarborough Library’s annual open house for all the groups who use their meeting facilities. Each group is invited to demonstrate the function of their particular group. The coin club had a display of a U. S. Type set from ½ cents through current issues of different coins. There was also old foreign currency and coins, coin magazines, and U.S. currency to give away. A special thanks is given to McBrides Coin Shop. They supplied a roll of proof cents, some dateless buffalo nickels, several Redbooks, new coin folders, and some old silver certificates to be given away. The public showed a great deal of interest, especially the children. Everyone enjoyed the open house.
